About Rotterdam EMS
Rotterdam Emergency Medical Services, Inc, or REMS, provides Advanced Life Support ambulance service to the residents of the Town of Rotterdam. REMS operates 2 stations within the Town of Rotterdam. Each station houses 2 New York State Department of Health Certified ambulances which are always ready to respond to EMS requests. Both stations are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. REMS provides EMS service to 28,845* residents covering 36.5 square miles in the Town of Rotterdam. All EMS services are accessed through the 9-1-1 system.
